Anthropology (ANT)
Section Information
Anthropology focuses on the study of humans, past and present, through their biological characteristics, cultural practices, social structures, languages, and archaeological records. It seeks to understand human diversity, adaptation, behavior, evolution, and the ways societies develop and interact across time and space.
Modern anthropological research spans sociocultural studies, biological anthropology, archaeology, linguistic anthropology, medical anthropology, and applied anthropology. Advances in digital tools, genomic analysis, ethnographic methods, remote sensing, and interdisciplinary approaches continue to enhance the study of human societies and their environments.
This section publishes research articles, ethnographic studies, archaeological analyses, reviews, and case reports addressing human culture, evolution, behavior, heritage, identity, and the social and ecological contexts that shape human life.
