Pathology (PTG)

Section Information

Pathology focuses on the study of disease mechanisms, structural and functional abnormalities, and laboratory-based diagnosis of clinical conditions. It examines tissues, cells, organs, and bodily fluids to understand disease processes and guide patient management.

Modern pathology integrates histopathology, cytopathology, molecular diagnostics, digital pathology, and laboratory medicine. Advances in genomics, imaging technologies, artificial intelligence, and biomarker discovery continue to expand diagnostic precision and personalized care.

This section publishes research articles, clinical studies, reviews, and case reports addressing disease mechanisms, diagnostic techniques, laboratory innovations, pathology workflows, and translational research linking basic science to clinical practice.
