Ethics (ETH)
Section Information
Ethics focuses on the principles, values, and reasoning that guide human conduct, decision-making, and moral judgment. It examines concepts of right and wrong, justice, responsibility, human dignity, and the ethical implications of actions within personal, professional, social, and global contexts.
Modern ethical research includes applied ethics, bioethics, business ethics, environmental ethics, digital and AI ethics, global justice, and professional ethics. It also draws on philosophy, law, social sciences, and emerging technologies to analyze real-world dilemmas and support ethical frameworks for policy and practice.
This section publishes theoretical discussions, normative analyses, case studies, reviews, and applied research addressing ethical theory, moral reasoning, contemporary ethical challenges, and cross-disciplinary approaches to ethical decision-making.
