International Relations (ITR)
Section Information
International Relations focuses on the study of interactions among states, international organizations, non-state actors, and global systems. It examines conflict and cooperation, diplomacy, foreign policy, global governance, security, trade, and the political, economic, and social forces that shape international outcomes.
Modern research in this field includes international security, international political economy, human rights, global institutions, regional studies, peace and conflict research, foreign policy analysis, and emerging global issues such as climate change, migration, and digital governance. Advances in data analytics, strategic modeling, comparative research, and interdisciplinary approaches continue to expand the field.
