Section Information
Research and practice across crops, animals, soils, water, forests, and food systems are being combined to meet rising demand and changing climates. Diverse methods and data sources are helping agriculture stay efficient, reliable, safe, economical, and robust from farm to market.
The operation and management of modern agro-ecosystems require a mix of technologies and perspectives. Engineering, biology, ecology, economics, and data science are used together with sensing, automation, and analytics.
