Behavioral Sciences (BHS)

Section Information

Behavioral Sciences focuses on the study of human and animal behavior through biological, psychological, cognitive, and social perspectives. It examines how individuals perceive, learn, decide, interact, and adapt within their environments, as well as the internal and external factors that shape behavior across the lifespan.

Modern research in behavioral sciences includes cognitive science, behavioral psychology, neuroscience, social behavior, decision-making, developmental processes, behavioral economics, mental health studies, and interdisciplinary approaches that connect behavior with biological and environmental influences.

This section publishes empirical studies, theoretical analyses, reviews, and case reports addressing behavior, cognition, emotion, motivation, interpersonal interactions, mental processes, and emerging behavioral interventions in health, education, technology, and society.
