Cybernetics – Computer Science (CYC)

Section Information

Cybernetics in Computer Science focuses on the study and design of regulatory, adaptive, and intelligent systems that integrate control, communication, computation, and feedback mechanisms. It examines how systems—biological, mechanical, or computational—perceive, process information, make decisions, and maintain stability within dynamic environments.

Modern cybernetics bridges artificial intelligence, systems theory, robotics, machine learning, human–computer interaction, and cognitive modeling. Advances in autonomous systems, cyber-physical platforms, intelligent control, and self-organizing networks highlight the interdisciplinary nature of cybernetic research in computing.

This section publishes research articles, reviews, and theoretical studies related to feedback control, intelligent systems, adaptive algorithms, communication theory, cognitive architectures, system modeling, and emerging cybernetic approaches across computational domains.
