Environmental Sciences (ENS)
Section Information
Environmental Sciences focuses on understanding the physical, chemical, biological, and human processes that shape natural systems and influence environmental quality. It examines interactions among the atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, and geosphere, along with the impacts of human activities on ecosystems and public health.
Modern research in environmental sciences includes climate dynamics, ecosystem functioning, biodiversity conservation, pollution assessment, geochemical cycles, land-use change, environmental monitoring, and sustainability science. Advances in remote sensing, modeling, analytical methods, and interdisciplinary approaches continue to improve understanding of environmental processes.
This section publishes research articles, reviews, case studies, and applied analyses related to environmental processes, ecological health, pollution dynamics, climate change, natural resource management, and strategies for protecting and restoring environmental systems.
