Multidisciplinary – Geosciences (MLG)
Section Information
Multidisciplinary Geosciences focuses on research that integrates multiple branches of Earth and environmental sciences to understand Earth systems, their interactions, and the processes shaping the planet. It examines the atmosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere, cryosphere, and lithosphere, highlighting cross-disciplinary approaches to geological, climatic, ecological, and anthropogenic phenomena.
Modern research in this field includes earth system science, climate dynamics, natural hazards, geochemistry, geomorphology, hydrology, remote sensing, environmental change, sustainability science, and geospatial analysis. Advances in modeling, field observation, satellite technologies, and data analytics continue to enhance understanding of Earth processes and global environmental challenges.
This section publishes empirical studies, theoretical models, monitoring and mapping analyses, interdisciplinary reviews, and case studies that connect multiple geoscience domains and contribute to scientific understanding, environmental management, and sustainable development.
