Section Information

Metallurgy and Metallurgical Engineering focus on the extraction, processing, characterization, and application of metals and alloys. The field integrates principles of materials science, thermodynamics, kinetics, and mechanics to optimize the performance, durability, and sustainability of metallic systems used across industries.

Modern metallurgical research spans physical and mechanical metallurgy, extractive processes, corrosion science, alloy development, and advanced manufacturing methods.
