Section Information
Nutrition and Dietetics focuses on the science of nutrients, food, and dietary patterns and their roles in human health, disease prevention, and therapeutic care. It encompasses the study of metabolism, nutrient requirements, food systems, clinical nutrition, and dietetic practices that support individual and population health.
Modern research in nutrition integrates biochemistry, physiology, public health, behavioral science, and clinical medicine. Advances in personalized nutrition, dietary assessment tools, nutrigenomics, food technology, and evidence-based dietetic interventions continue to shape practice and policy in nutrition and dietetics.
