Psychology (PYL)

Section Information

Psychology focuses on the scientific study of mind, behavior, emotion, and mental processes across individual and group contexts. It examines how people perceive, think, feel, learn, develop, and interact, and how biological, cognitive, social, and environmental factors shape psychological functioning.

Modern psychological research includes cognitive psychology, clinical and counseling psychology, social and personality psychology, developmental psychology, neuroscience, health psychology, educational psychology, and applied fields such as organizational behavior and human factors. Advances in brain imaging, data analytics, experimental methods, and digital technologies continue to expand insights into human behavior and mental health.

This section publishes empirical studies, theoretical analyses, applied research, reviews, and case reports addressing psychological mechanisms, mental health, human development, behavior change, and interdisciplinary approaches to understanding and improving well-being.
