Rehabilitation (REH)
Section Information
Rehabilitation focuses on restoring function, improving mobility, and enhancing quality of life for individuals affected by injury, illness, disability, or chronic health conditions. It addresses physical, cognitive, emotional, and social aspects of recovery to support independence and participation in daily life.
Modern rehabilitation research includes advances in physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, neurorehabilitation, assistive technologies, and interdisciplinary models of care. Innovations in robotics, prosthetics, virtual reality, biomechanics, and regenerative medicine continue to improve rehabilitation outcomes.
This section publishes clinical studies, research articles, reviews, and case reports addressing rehabilitation strategies, functional recovery, disability management, therapeutic interventions, and emerging technologies that support patient rehabilitation across diverse conditions.
