Andrology (AND)
Section Information
Andrology focuses on the study of male reproductive health, male fertility, and disorders affecting the male reproductive system. It examines the physiology, pathology, endocrinology, and molecular biology of male reproductive organs, as well as clinical conditions that influence sexual function, spermatogenesis, and hormonal regulation.
Modern research in andrology includes male infertility, erectile dysfunction, hormonal disturbances, testicular disorders, male contraception, reproductive genetics, sexually transmitted infections, and the impact of lifestyle and environmental factors on male reproductive outcomes. Advances in imaging, molecular diagnostics, assisted reproductive technologies, and microsurgical techniques continue to enhance clinical management and scientific understanding.
This section publishes clinical studies, experimental research, reviews, case reports, and translational studies addressing male reproductive physiology, reproductive disorders, diagnostic innovations, therapeutic strategies, and emerging developments in male reproductive science and medicine.
