Interdisciplinary Applications – Computer Science (IAC)

Section Information

Interdisciplinary Applications in Computer Science encompass the integration of computational theories, methods, and tools across diverse scientific, engineering, social, and creative domains. This field focuses on leveraging algorithms, data analytics, modeling, automation, and intelligent systems to solve complex real-world problems that extend beyond traditional computing boundaries.

Modern interdisciplinary work spans bioinformatics, health informatics, environmental modeling, digital humanities, computational social science, and intelligent systems for education, industry, and policy. Advances in AI, data science, high-performance computing, and human–computer interaction enable innovative cross-domain solutions.

This section publishes research articles, reviews, and applied studies demonstrating novel uses of computing to advance knowledge and practice across scientific, engineering, social, environmental, and creative fields.
